The world government has passed a law to care for patients infected with the virus. Five secret artificial islands were established to quarantine the infected patients. One such quarantine island: is Bhikkhuni, the island known for successfully containing the “V virus”. Girls who enrol in Bhikkhuni school can overcome the virus. And so it is a school with many hopeful candidates.

So basically, young, attractive women have to fight robots or each other and this island was created to allow them to do just that. That pretty much sums up the who, what, where and why of the entire game. The plot is not particularly interesting or well-written. Especially in the beginning, which moves at a slow pace, a fact not helped by the overlong and largely unnecessary tutorial. Later the plot takes an interesting turn, but nothing new enough to salvage the earlier pacing issues. This story is not preferred due to the fact that the characters in the game are not particularly interesting either. While each girl has her own unique personality, they’re all pretty clichés found in any anime, allowing players to choose their favourites based solely on their play style. Or more likely: their physical appearance.
Gameplay:
In this fan title, the aesthetic is indeed the biggest draw. The young ladies are all well-proportioned and dressed in revealing outfits. Collecting linen, groping girls in locker rooms and taking off their clothes during fights are some of the highlights of Valkyrie Drive -Bhikkhuni-. For those who enjoy a good fanservice experience, this game doesn’t hold back. From jokes to obvious sapphire shades, this title provides plenty of screenshots worth saving or unlocking.
